The aim of the website is to provide you with important information regarding the school’s day-to-day life so that you can learn more about us.  Effective communication with you as a parent / guardian will ensure that your child settles well here and that you feel confident about the care he or she receives at school.  It is very important for us as staff and governors at the school that every child receiving their education at Ysgol Llanystumdwy thrives within a friendly, happy and safe environment, and we work hard at all times to promote this. Our aim here is to make your children’s time at the school happy, successful and exciting one so that theu grow to be confident and ambitious citizens.

Ysgol Llanystumdwy is a comparatively small school, and we take great pride in the sense of belonging to a family that exists at the school.  We attempt to ensure wide-ranging and diverse experiences for the children so that they grow and develop in confidence to become courteous, responsible, independent and helpful children and young people who are prepared to play their part in their wider communities.
